Also: she took the time to share (read tweet) with everyone that: ‘Gerard is really the best thing that has happened to me in my life. And now there’s the baby! It will be a boy!’

Well, look at that rock! Jennifer Aniston and her beau, Justin Theroux, in a public display of affection, carelessly showing off her engagement ring. Her HUGE engagement ring! I’m certain Kim Kardashian is pale with envy right now, trying to scoop the next big fake ring to put on her ring finger!
It’s good to see happy loving people, isn’t it? Too bad they have to dig up the heaviest, shiniest rock to prove that, but I guess this goes a long way on Hollywood standards… Can’t wait for the wedding details! Not that we want them to rush into anything, but that rock… really, that’s a lotta love… ahem sparkle!

I really like Mila, I think she’s great at what she does (acting, that is) but I also think she’s far from living up to this label’s hype! The good thing, though? You know, I thought I had it all figured out. Until that controversial pr thing from the maison came through. Now I don’t even now how to call them anymore: Saint Laurent? Saint Laurent Paris? Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane? I’m so confused!
And now it’s only getting worse. Anja Rubik – one of my favorite models right now, and one of the most present in pictorials, ad campaigns and catwalks over the world, is the face of the new Saint Laurent ad campaign as photographed by Hedi Slimane (or so it seems – there’s no telling if this is the actual campaign or just a friendly set up from fashion fans). I would jump up and down with joy and excitement, if it weren’t for the pictures you’ll see right after the jump! Go on, hit the jump! You know you want to see it!

Can you believe it? Tom Ford is a dad! Cathy Horyn spilled the happy news via Twitter when she expressed her congrats. So Tom Ford and his longtime partner, Richard Buckley, welcomed their baby boy Alexander John Buckley Ford! Wwd reported that the boy was born last month, actually (Sept. 23rd, to be more precise). Remember we talked about Jennifer Lawrence doing Vogue UK November 2012? I was crossing my fingers and hoping for an interesting pictorial. Photographed by Alasdair McLellan and styled by Francesca Burns with makeup by Hannah Murray.
Vintage – y and intentionally cozy, the pictorial is too rough and amateur – looking for my taste. I’m sure there’s a perfectly artsy explanation for it and that a certain tendency in photography is brilliantly illustrated in these pages of the November 2012 issue of Vogue UK. But can you believe that someone actually did Jennifer Lawrence’s hair for this pictorial? Yep! Hairstylist extraordinaire Anthony Turner is responsible for this un – coiffed coiffed hair! Lovely. Not.

Casual Weekend Outfit: Boho Chic

My dahlings! Remember those Outfit of the Day series? I think I may be getting back to it with a little help from Polyvore! So this is how we’re doing this: I’ll just show you the picture and it you’re ‘feeling it’, then visit my set here. Maybe you’re interested in those exact items, maybe you’re just taking this as a starting point for your own personal variation on the given theme.
This weekend, I thought about something light but not too summery. However, I wanted to keep it all joyful and colorful, as you know me, so there I go, layering a men shirt over a really pretty white dress with cute embroideries. Don’t forget the belt, you want to keep that men shirt close to your body!
Finishing the look: a crocheted bag – aren’t they the coziest bags ever? There’s something so warm and natural about crochet I’m loving! The fringed boots matched the motifs on the white dress and so they came naturally. And yes, I chose them in blue to end this boho chic outfit in a strong note.
