Gisele Bundchen Still Pregnant. Meditating
November 26th, 2012 by kpriss
While I was convinced that Gisele Bundchen has gone under the radar to give birth to her and husband’s Tom Brady second child, she took the Facebook way to announce us that she’s meditating… While still sporting a seriously heavy pregnant belly. I can barely hold myself in that position, let alone a 20 pounds baby bump! Models these days… They say they’re eating cotton balls, but I think they’re made out of pure iron!
Vogue Russia Loves Fur Auras Covers: Linda Evangelista December 2012
November 26th, 2012 by kpriss
It’s an interesting end of editorial 2012 for Vogue magazines worldwide! Oldies but goldies, one would say, and in all justice. After discussing the pretty but oh – to – photoshopped Carla Bruni’s Vogue Paris cover, let’s see what Vogue Russia found suitable for the December 2012 cover!
Linda Evangelista as photographed by Karl Lagerfeld in a lush Fendi fur coat. But wait… that cover really reminds me of something I’ve seen not long ago! Naomi Campbell’s gorgeous face popping up from white fur in the middle of Vogue Russia’s December 2008 cover!
And as far as I’m concerned I could very well go ahead and call it a coincidence. Except the passionate and restless tFS people discovered even more furry covers as you can see below. I think it’s now safe to call furry auras a Vogue Russia cover cliché. As for Lagerfeld’s pictorial… we can take a look at it, right after the jump (click here for the gallery!)…
New Year’s Eve Party Dress: Diamond Royal Shineness Dress
November 26th, 2012 by kpriss
I talked about the hair, why not talk about the fabulous party dresses you’ll need for this New Year’s Eve parties? Let’s start with a real treasure discovered by our dear friend, Ellington: Royal Shineness Dress from Free People. You know sequins are big this season, you also know you have to go short to go big at any party right now, so why hesitate? (if anyone asks, Rihanna thought about this dress when she wrote Diamonds!)
Carla Bruni Guest Edits & Covers Vogue Paris December January 2012 2013
November 25th, 2012 by kpriss
Now that she stepped down from the First Lady pedestal, Carla Bruni Sarkozy can finally go back in the first row. Because, although fashion arms’ may not be wide open at first and the fashpopulation may object to that, Carla Bruni’s place is in fashion.
Vogue Paris December / January 2012 2013 is an interesting choice for Carla to star in and guest edit as well. It’s both the end and the debut of a new editorial year. The last Vogue Paris issue of 2012 and the first from 2013. Pretty much like Carla’s own life going back to normality, out of the public eye (now that her husband, Nicolas Sarkozy is no longer France’s President). But I won’t talk metaphors too long, it’s not fashionable enough: let’s talk covers! (after the jump!)

9 Party Hair Styles For Your Seasonal Party Inspiration!
November 25th, 2012 by kpriss
With Thanksgiving already behind us, it’s time to start building the Holiday Season parties wardrobe, huh? And what about the hair? Anything particular in mind? Maybe I can help?
The lovely Natasha Poly shows us (photographed by Satoshi Saikusa in Madame Figaro France) that you can definitely pull of more than just one hairstyle all in using the hair we already have, without adding extensions or whatnots. Not that I would mind funky ‘whatnots’ like feathers or colorful strings of hair… But you have to be extra careful when adding statement pieces like that in your hair. You have to be sure they fit in the general look and they don’t get all the attention. After all, you’re not going through all the pain of wearing high heels if people would only stare at your hair, would you?
But that’s another story, let’s concentrate on the 9 party hairstyles here… I’ll start with:
{1} curly hair. Because I’m subjectively partial to this hair, especially since it comes naturally for me. Don’t forget about curly hair, ladies! You can always say you’re loving the 80s throwback, not that it’s your natural out-of-the-shower lovely head!
Mariacarla Boscono Back For Givenchy Spring 2013 Beauty Campaign
November 25th, 2012 by kpriss
Although a head shot isn’t a clear confirmation that Mariacarla Boscono is back in fashion after giving birth, especially since campaign photo sessions usually take place way before the actual date of their media release. But let’s look at the greater picture: Riccardo Tisci’s muse is back for Givenchy’s Le Rouge Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign. Classic hit. {beautyisdiverse}
New Must Wear Pants: Sweatpants?
November 25th, 2012 by kpriss
My dahlings, I was reading this piece the other day and I really thought it wasn’t much to it. Except it grew on me. And not in the right way either. I kept thinking back on the lines I read asking myself, in complete disbelief, over and over again: really? Sweatpants are the new it pants? Granted, the piece was about men fashion, so I may not be in the best place to judge the trends. Although… when we, ladies, dress up, we do consider our men’s opinions, don’t we?
Thinking of these premises, I asked myself if I’d enjoy seeing my Adored Husband pairing a tweed jacket with a pair of gray sweatpants. And I wouldn’t. Not even if he would be just heading home after playing tennis with the boys. There’s a place and time for sweatpants and, the way I see it, their place is not on the catwalk but in a carryall along with the sneakers, the anoraks and the tennis tees (in my case, biensur).
No, don’t give me that look! I’m not hasty in judging off the sweat pants! Imagine I’d wear my beloved velour track suit pants with a silver sequined top and high heeled sandals – would that make the sweat pants trend any easier to digest?

November 25th, 2012 by kpriss
Laetitia Casta gracing the Winter 2012 cover of i – D magazine as photographed by Daniele and Iango is a happy sight for fashion sorrowed eyes. The Latina trend that’s sweeping the fashion shores nowadays is a classic guaranteed beauty makeover hit. Ad a rose for the drama, red nails for the fatale detail and big hair for the rest of us! Ole! {i-d}
