Crocs Counterfeiters Sentenced To 46 Years In Prison!

Wait, what? 46 years in prison for counterfeiting plastic clogs? I can understand the moral need to limit and punish the counterfeit industry, but really?! 18 Chinese counterfeiters were prosecuted and sentenced to pay apx $451,000 in addition to serving 46 years in prison for replicating & commercializing $129,000 worth of fake Crocs (plus $9.6 million in confiscated merchandise). New York Times Style Magazine has thought about a nice birthday cover for Jude Law, this Holiday issue. Jude is turning 40! And if we’re to believe him, he’s happy he’s no longer the ‘pretty thing’.

But what he is, though, is an actor in the new ‘Anna Karenina’ which seems to be in the box office ring, dodging ‘Les Miserables’ success bullets this season. Classic tales, we’ll see who’ll be the winner (I have my bets set on Les Mis, you?). For the moment let’s concentrate on Jude Law and his NY Times pictorial. Which was artfully executed by Sam Taylor Johnson (MMM H & M’s campaign, if the name doesn’t ring any particular bell) and edited by Bruce Pask. Jessica Simpson has enrolled for yet another one of her endless pregnancies. Or so the rumor goes. But if there’s one thing we know for sure now, is that when lovely Jess is pregnant, she sure knows how to show it! And this time, she’s looking quite shy about it.

Discretely keeping her shopping bag up, up, covering her waist line, Jessica Simpson is glamorously not – showing her baby bump this time! Why would that be? Because, even if we’re assuming that she’s bump – shy this time, she sure ain’t stilettos shy!

We all know youthful, right? And we all know bad hair. But See By Chloe’s new fragrance ad campaign with Bette Franke is definitely about both. I’m feeling more and more puzzled by the latest perfume ad campaigns. The messages they’re supposed to transmit go around me, I’m just not feeling their magic! Except if this See by Chloe perfume is supposed to make your hair look awfully undone… {fgr}

This is Jessica Chastain’s fourth cover this month! Vogue Germany January 2013 is adding even more wow factor to her previous multi – covers W arts issue. I can even get over the physical awkwardness of Jessica’s cover pose and solely concentrate on her matching lips and outfit.

Bruce Weber is responsible for her pictorial and for the cover, biensur, and as far as we know, a single preview image has been released from this Vogue issue, and in it, Jessica Chastain is thoroughly enjoying playing music with Omar Sy. It sure looks promising (check out the image after the jump) and Jessica is always flawless, shining through every occasion.

I often talk about my love for all things denim. I have a casual fondness towards jeans and I strongly believe they can be adapted to any circumstance, with the proper styling. To sustain my denim – theory, I brought some images to help.

Photographed by Paul Wetherell for Vogue Australia January 2013, Emma Balfour is wearing classic washed out denim with either leather or other layers of denim. Sure, they’re all couture – ish and were specifically tailored to sustain a more studied, refined style, but that doesn’t stop you from improvising and adapting.

My favorite look, for casual, day – to – day routine is the blue jean & brown top. It’s all roomy and comfy, you can wear it up or down, either way it’s going to serve its laid back purpose. (the story continues right after the jump, click here for the gallery!)
