I love high heels with passion. Beyond my mom – routine, I like to keep it dressy and glamorous whenever I go out just with my Adored Husband. And these would be the right heels to wear for those rare but oh – so – amazing occasions!
Chunky heels, dressy but also urban looking, the new Prabal Gurung Casadei shoes from the label’s Pre Fall 2013 collection have all the right ingredients to be the next big shoes around. I’m loving the fuchsia details and the pop avant-garde designs and I think they’d be great with denim or with the new hype black shiny skinny jeans I keep seeing everywhere! What say you? Would you wear them? With what?

Now that Abu Nazir is out of the picture, Carrie Mathison can finally catch a breath and walk around town with her two men: husband Hugh Dancy and little one Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy.
Just a week after giving birth (December 17), Claire Danes slipped into a comfy winter coat & biker boots to walk the wee one in a spanking new Chicco Cortina Stroller (Perseo if you want to know all the details). I’m loving the casualness of the mom & dad ensemble as well as the fact that despite being a highly praised actress (Homeland is being nominated again for the SAG and Golden Globe awards), they didn’t go for a designer stroller and seem to keep it pretty low – key wardrobe wise as well. The tabloids keep jumping on the right cover title just to boost sales. I can’t seem to get that in my head once and for all! There was this baby bump buzz not long ago, saying that both Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Aniston were expecting – remember?
However, while there’s still no word about Anne, Jennifer Aniston was just photographed in Cabo, sunbathing with her fiancé, Justin Theroux and she was certainly not showing any signs of baby bump! You can hit the gallery here for a better look and weigh in. The only weird thing going on is Justin’s swimsuit. You may remember I was a bit surprised to see that Karlie Kloss’s new haircut had received a six pages coverage in the latest issue of Vogue US. They even brought the big guns for the occasion: a high profile hair stylist & photographer, not to mention the model itself.
However, more I look into it, more I discover that this new chop may just be the latest it haircut! Models letting go of their usually long hair to embrace the short bob looking home – made more than anything else. Here’s Catherine McNeil, my latest it haircut discovery! While the entire fashion population is going crazy for Kate Upton, the new health & beauty standard, I still think she’s not bringing anything new to the table. Except for – maybe – an air of open vulgarity.
‘Healthy – looking’ models have been around for quite a while now, except they don’t necessarily look like inflated dolls. Take Bar Refaeli for instance – she’s clearly not a size zero kind of girl and she’s always so fresh and funny, I’m always loving her Passionata ad campaigns. Surprise! Jessica Simpson Expecting Again!

Wow! Now really this comes as a surprise! Especially after weeks of baby – bump watching! So Jessica Simpson, my dahlings, officially announced via her Twitter, biensur, that her 7 months old daughter, Maxwell Drew is going to be a Big Sis!
I guess Jess and her fiancé, Eric Johnson were waiting for the right time to share with everyone the good news and they picked Christmas to do it. That settles the Greetings Picture subject easily, then, huh? We’re wishing them Happy Holidays and an easy, healthy pregnancy! (do you think her Weigh Watchers deal covers this pregnancy too? Like in keeping her pregnancy weight gain under control this time around?)

Meet Denyse, Ms Veteran America 2012!

My dahlings! Did you know that there even was such a thing as Ms Veteran America? I had absolutely no idea! But It’s such a wonderful initiative! So who’s the first ever Ms Veteran America 2012? Denyse!
I came across her story on ‘Curly Nikki’ and she said she’s been serving her country in the US Air Force and US Air Force Reserves for nearly 20 years. Denyse is approaching her 40es and she thought it would be really great to participate in this MVA Competition meant to Showcase the Woman beyond the Uniform!
