What’s there to be sad about when losing a beauty contract? There’s always gonna be another one to replace it.
And I don’t think Kate La Moss was ever sad when losing the Rimmel account… She replaced it fast with a heavy one – Yves Saint Laurent Beauté. Would it be the L’Oreal take on its newly acquisitioned YSL Beauté that cheapens this ad so much? Does it look YSL to you?

It looks New YSL to me.A far cry from the elegant and embellished YSL ads of yesteryear. Its all so urban and minimalist these days.As for Kate, well I suppose she couldn’t stay with Rimmel forever. When the offers calm down she’ll probably do her own beauty line.
I still like Kate though.
It looks very L’Oreal to me. Its not stylish. It doesn’t remind on YSL himself. In fact when a person has died the name should be buried too.
Is Kate not able anymore to strike another pose?
Nice change of pace for YSL. Kate can make anything look amazing including Lingerie!
YSL is no longer just a name, its a brand and it will not go away just because the very talented designer and namesake passed away.
Kate couldn’t stay with Rimmel forever. They seem like a young girls makeup company to me where as YSL seems to appeal to an older with more money audience.
