Hollywood Loves Michael Fassbender. Do We?

As sad news about Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis going separate ways don’t cease to poison and destroy girls fantasies of fairytale love stories, Hollywood is taking advantage or their latest hunk discovery and they won’t stop highlighting him until… well, we just have to wait and see, huh?

So Michael Fassbender is the name you’ll have to follow from now on – he’s the new actor fancied at Hollywood! I can’t say I’ve seen him in many films (for now I can only think X-Men, but I’m sure there’s more to his curriculum) – how about you? Did you see his on-screen performance? How do you feel about him?

(like him or not, you won’t get away from him this month – he’s pretty much everywhere on the newsstand – from W’s Brad and Charlize February 2012 to Interview’s February 2012 and Hollywood Reporter’s cover – there’s more after the jump and you can check out the gallery here)

I accidently caught a movie on late night cable called Centurion & was totally mesmerized by the gutsy performance of the lead actor – Michael Fassbender! So much so (unbeknown to the hubby) our family had a Fassbender movie marathon – X Men, Inglourious Basterds & Centurion (again). The H was none the wiser because all the movies are pretty violent or action packed! LOL!! I recommend Centurion – it is well acted & interesting from a historial point of view.
I am glad actors like Michael, as well as, Ryan Gosling, Jeremy Renner & Alexander Skarsgard are getting media coverage because I am a bit sick of Brad, George & co.

The W-cover is…ehm….words fail me…he’s half-Irish too….sighs…
Prometheus looks more and more promising <3

Fun story keiKo! And by the way the small screen offers a lot of nice surprises ;)

I have always felt like I am the only woman in the world who didn't like George, good actor, mega annoying man….

I like Michael Fassbender.
He is talented and very very!
He was good in Centurion and X-men First Class, I believe that he was also Mr. Rochester in the latest Jane Eyre, but I am hoping to see him in Shame and I am going to see Haywire this weekend (because I do love an action movie when the female is the action star!) and he is in it as well.
I love Johnny, Brad and George but it is lovely to see Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender and Idris Elba getting roles for they are all so talented and they are also lovely to look at. : )

OMG – yes Idris Elba is very very. I was thrilled that he won an award the other night – so talented yet a secret to the wider audience.
I still think his portayal of Stringer Bell is the best characterisation on TV.

@ Riana – if you want to know the secret watch the TV series Luther or The Wire or the movie RocknRolla – throughly entertaining & highly recommended.

keiKo, thank you :)

I realised yet I have seen him once in Inglourious Bastards and also RocknRolla! Shame on me, very much shame on me….*blush*

Good American TV-series are often much later or never broadcast here. I’m fully awake now :D
