I just told you who was my best dressed for the 2011 SAG Awards ceremony tonight. Now it’s time for the worse, in my opinion. Which can come across as strange since I usually love Carolina Herrera‘s timeless elegant creations and January Jones could pull a gorgeous impression in just about anything.
Except this. Her golden lace number was all classy and perfect. But for someone less younger than January. The dress looks stiff and unnaturally pretentious (as does her hair, but that’s another story, at least her stiff look was coherent). How do you feel about January Jones’ Carolina Herrera dress? Okay then I’m unnaturally pretentious too ;) I was pleasantly surprised with the look of the dress. I love the version on January better than the one on the model.
The dresses are both lovely. I like them. :)
I luv the name January Jones – it is so James Bond!
Her choices often miss for me – like she tries so hard not to be confused with Betty Draper.
