Jamie Bochert is the new it model right now. Maybe because the fashion world has had enough of Lara Stone and her Bardot-ness, terribly skinny punk looking androgynous Jamie is just what we needed! At leas I embrace her presence (as you’ll see soon) in next year’s ad campaigns.
Why am I talking about Jamie Bochert? Because she’s the one bouncing for Lanvin’s Spring Summer 2010 campaign! Right next to Inez and Vinoodh who were photographs and photographed for Lanvin’s campaign! (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)
Alber Elbaz is rightfully afraid of bloggers – when you’re doing an ad campaign like this one, you should expect someone to point the subtle Twilight-ness of Jamie’s image. And since the great Hitchcock was denied an Oscar because of that tiny detail (his Birds reflected no shadow), I’ll kindly remind Mr Elbaz that not only bags but also living things carry a shadow. And we can’t seem to locate Jamie’s. Can you? (I do agree that using Inez and Vinoodh as models not just photographers was genius, pure genius! They look magical and they bring the picture to life! In a body snatching kind of way, but I’m alright with that, at least there’s no body, so no need for a shadow, right?) (via)

Rather nifty. :)
It is a nice change from stone faced Stone.

Cool clothes, but the campaign sucks.
