While there are both pros and cons to the mother-daughter matching outfits debate, one thing in particular could set both camps on the same pace: kids wearing high heels.
Heidi Klum was seen out and about with her kids on countless occasions, however, a couple of times she was photographed with her two daughters: Leni (10) and Lou (5) wearing coordinated looks. It’s a girls thing, a fun wonderful fashion bonding game for both mother and daughters. A couple of days ago, it was all about the shoes! And more specifically, about matching the high heels.
More than on one occasion, Heidi Klum has been seen wearing comfortable Birkenstock footwear. She passed the comfortable footwear lesson onto her children, her girls often wear Birkenstock sandals. This particular time, they left their Birki’s at home, next to their flip flops, and wore high heels, like their Mommy!

Someone very fashion wise once said that playing dress-up begins at age five, and never truly ends (Kate Spade). It’s the right age for Lou as she is wearing her kitten heels with panache . Leni, on the other hand, is pretty serious about her high heeled pumps, perfectly coordinated to mom Heidi’s slick black stilettos.

Back in 2009, when little Suri Cruise (then 3year old) was seen wearing high heels, the world was taken by storm and, subsequently, every toddler in high heels is now possible because of Suri. We’ve heard and read endless debates trying to establish whether children who wear high heeled footwear are in a health-menacing situation. The truth is still out there. But a temporary peace solution has been found by saying that high heels are acceptable in young children, as long as they only wear them for a short span of two to three hours weekly.
…and that not because doctors and parents finally reached a solid conclusion but because they all had to admit that if it weren’t for Suri’s repetitive high heels situation, nobody would’ve questioned children wearing high heels for dance school repetitions.
Clearly in Heidi Klum’s daughters case, no dance school was in question the day the girls were allowed to wear high heels. All in secretly applauding young Leni who seems a master of walking in high heels at only 10, the question still lingers: how high is too high of a heel for our children? (images fameflynet)

To be honest I find little girls in high heels a tad creepy.
I totally agree! Mom tries hard to look younger, daughter Leni too mature, the younger daughter not comfortable. There’s no healthy balance.
Let’s bet, Leni will be a model soon.
