Tina Turner Renounces US Citizenship, Gets The Vogue Germany April 2013 Cover!

Talking about music: our dear friend, Ellington, sent me this too – great for words cover a day back and here I am sharing my enthusiasm with you, although I waited for more material to surface, with no luck until now.

Tina Turner, my dahlings, on her first Vogue cover! Vogue Germany brings us ‘Simply the best!’ cover there is! I wonder if this is because she renounced her American citizenship a month or so ago and officially became a Swiss citizen, embracing the country where she’s been living for years with her partner, German music executive Erwin Bach, as her own?

Rhetorical question, of course, as it’s daylight clear that, this undoubtedly beautiful and legendary Tina Turner cover is coated with a serious layer of controversy honey that will sweeten up the newsstand sales!

I will, however, voluntarily disregard that, in full conscience as Tina is one of the greatest entertainers of our times, a very dedicated and passionate artist, many look up to. She seems to be in a wonderful place now, looking all happy and radiant (I also choose to ignore the plastic surgery signs on her pretty face). Simply the best. Yes. Tina in Vogue! Oh, I’m happy this happened! More so since it’s Vogue Deutschland and not Vogue US! That’s what you get for turning in your US passport (wink)!
