This is something I’ve been meaning to talk about for a couple of days already: Christian Louboutin’s Spring Summer 2013 Ad Campaign. Have you seen it? Because I became obsessed by it since I first laid eyes on!
Peter Lippmann photographed the fairy tale images ready to be distributed worldwide and turn a woman into a Louboutin fan without her even knowing it! Because, what I loved the most about this campaign – and maybe you did too – is that although the main focus is clearly on the Louboutin shoes, the story line has more than just soles and heels to tell!
There’s a substantial fairy tale behind the campaign, and you know how much I love that! And the fishing for shoes idea is so playful and adorable, I can’t help but dream about the next time I’ll pull out some red soled wonders out of muddy waters! However, if that involves hanging a fisherman upside down in a heist-y maneuver, it’s definitely not my joy ride!
I am puzzled, though, as to how I am supposed to mix and match the shoes pulled out of the water… It’s not like you’re fishing out a pair, right? But on a second thought, it’s a risk I’m willing to take. In shoes – theory. Not to mention the fishing stories I’d have to tell! Hah! Aren’t these pictures great fun?
