While she was lovely and her fashion choices were impeccably stylish and timeless for the previous Red Carpet occasions, Anne Hathaway will clearly make it to a lot of bad dressed lists tonight!
Not only her Prada light pink dress was ill fitting, but it was also awfully indiscreet for such an important occasion. Or maybe it was just the weather? Either way, let’s concentrate on the positive aspects. Her 2013 Oscars pink dress appears to be custom made, with a look from the Spring 2013 Prada collection in mind (you’ve seen more similar designs on the Critics Choice Awards Red Carpet).
The oddness of her dress isn’t complete until you see the back as well! It looks as the fabric, the stitches, the crisscross, everything worked against the dress and Anne wearing it. And I find it hard to understand why she went for this gown, as she clearly tried it before, being a custom made…
She played the matching game perfectly, as her nails were as pink sheer as her very pink duchesse satin dress! But her hairdo wasn’t all that pretty – neither was her makeup.
