Isn’t it great to see someone normal in the pages of a fashion magazine like Vogue? It’s Vogue Italy, known for groundbreaking initiatives, but nevertheless, Jennifer Lawrence is also a happy sight for fashion bored eyes (suffering from overexposure to Kate Upton’s fashion blandness).
In my opinion one of the best actresses of the new generation, Jennifer Lawrence was photographed by Mark Selinger for the December 2012 issue of Vogue Italia. The pictorial is styled by Sarah Ellison (hair Rita Marmor, Makeup Ozzy Salvatierra and Nails by Jenna Hipp) evokes the celebrity life, as far as I can see, all for a good movie pretext. (click here for the gallery!)
It’s a well executed photo story, with fancy clothes (I particularly enjoyed the spaghetti flapper dress. And judging by the look on Jennifer’s face in that image, she must’ve felt pretty amazing wearing it as well – wink). Although I plan too, I haven’t yet seen Silver Lining Playbook (Jennifer Lawrence’s new movie which is set to premiere in Italy in March 2013). Have you? Does it have anything to do with these images?

Ehhrrr…Normal???She just had been voted the world’s most desirable woman.
I wish the “normal” people around me looked like her .
If only that Kate had half of Jennifer’s appeal…
thing is, with Jennifer, that she’s a person of substance. Either one of her roles I’ve seen so far demonstrate her involvement and empathy to a level of old – school acting perfection. Kate, on the other hand – all I see in her eyes is ‘fame’. That bothers me and perplexes me that fashion people can’t or won’t pick that up.
Totally agree with you.
