Sure, fashion needed Kate Upton. Sure, she’s a breath of fresh air among skinny models and size 0 boundaries. But is Kate Upton the new aesthetic? Is she the new beauty must? Or just a stand in for Lara Stone who seems to concentrate more on her family life than on her fashion career? To me, this retro – looking Vogue UK January 2013 is not a fashion revolution but a pale shade of vintage. {tFS}
Thoughts About Kate Upton’s Vogue UK January 2013 Cover?

A new low for Vogue.
I was in a trip to Brazil recently and believe me , the cashiers at the supermarket there are prettier and have more appeal than this Kate.
(straight forward. But – thank you! You voiced some serious frustrations regarding the new ‘it model’! :*)
Sorry kpriss,,, I really dislike this girl for a fashion mag.
She is pretty. But sooooo unappealable( this is my new favorite word).
I think she is good for GQs, Playboys and… and…
Unappealable…..what?
yes. With you all the way, ana! Unless Vogue UK has been guest – edited by Hugh Hefner, this really makes no sense at all.
she is far not a fashion model…she s better be an Po*n actress…
I am so tired of all the hating -everyone / everywhere – blog after blog – makes me feel sorry for Kate. I agree she is no Christy Turlington but p*rn star looks – I don’t think so. She is a normal looking girl having her 5 minutes of fame – u go girl!
I think the cover is okay – but she looks too small & the cover looks empty & unfinished. This is the problem with magazines – the creativity is dull & the model gets the blame. The inside editorial of Doutzen is a feast for the eyes – beautiful fashion fantasy – isn’t that where the cover should have been drawn from?
