Pretty much every time, not just during special times! Interrupting our usually stylish program, but keeping the fun spirit, I’d like you to take a look at this picture below: Natalie Portman and son Aleph (who’ll turn 1 this June) having loads of fun on the playground! Pure Bliss!

Natalie and her boy look very happy!
We do not have Memorial Day here in Canada Kpriss, and I do not think any where else in the world does either. We have Remembrance Day or Armistice Day (November 11) here to honour the serving and the fallen.
But last weekend we did celebrate Victoria Day (in honour of Queen Victoria) that was a good time! And I do know that there have been many Jubilee celebrations in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.
Also I am sure that in Europe and Asia and Australia they have bank holidays around this time of year.
I hope that you and your family have a good day of it. : )

It’s Second Whitsun Day in the Netherlands. It’s like a Sunday. An old Christian tradition but less people know what Whitsun is about anymore.

We honour the fallen on May 4 in the evening with two minutes of silence. In the past it was only because of WOII but these days it’s in honour of all people that lost and lose their life’s during any war. Bevrijdings Dag = Independence Day is May 5. Since somewhere in the ’90’s it’s not an official day of celebration anymore.

Happy Memorial Day Kpriss & Co and to Ellington and others whatever your day is, have a great day :)
