Clive Owen, Toni Garn For Vogue Spain October 2011

I thought it would be a nice hump day start, with a Clive Owen Vogue cover! Bonus: there’s also a model on the cover: Toni Garn. Vogue Spain October 2011 is really pretty to look at.

Let’s open it and see the goodies inside (right after the jump! click here for the gallery). Aside from the obvious strange pairing of a 46yo with a 19yo girl (who could just as well be his daughter, given that the actor has, in real life, two teenage daughters), the pictorial is meant to highlight the glitz of being a Secret Agent (lol) and the advantages of the job – the Femme Fatale (lol again) who comes with the territory.

Clive is pretty unconvincing as a Secret Agent (smiling candidly is not really one of the favorite facial expressions of secret agents, as we were accustomed to from cliché movie scenes – think always frowning Daniel Craig). As for Toni Garn, as happy as I could be for her Vogue cover, she looks like a poor man’s Lara Stone… Either way, have a look at Alex Lubomirski’s photographs and tell me what you think… (Vogue Spain via)
