You know there’s more to Hailee Steinfeld’s Miu Miu Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign than the first image we’ve seen a while back! Much, much more!
And she looks like she’s having some fun. At least in some of the pictures. However, reconsidering my feelings and position regarding this campaign, I still don’t find it reassuring that such a young girl can so actively participate in promotional projects for ad campaigns. However, if the Fannings can do it, so can she, right? (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!)
And then there’s something else: if Hailee is looking for a career in the showbiz, then this is the right way to approach the business. Her ads are certainly controversial and Prada is a very coveted label these seasons. Ask Marc Jacobs, he surely knows about Prada! (photos via)

Yes she does look like she is having fun in this ad layout! : )
I loved Hailee in True Grit, she was spectacular, and I hope that she has an amazing acting career ahead of her.
As for her age I think that she looks fine she reminds me a bit of Tavi. Thankfully these photos are nothing like the ones being presented in French Vogue with that very little girl who is rather sexualized in her layout.
French Vogue seems that it is all about being foolishly controversial and nothing about good editorial fashion.
Oh, I’m all over this kind of avantgarde art-ish perspective offered by the French magazines and art environment. In their eyes, it would appear that anything having to do with intimacy is an art. It’s so wrong and so small!
Hailee looks lovely. She looks vintage-y and old Hollywood. and you’re right, she kinda looks like Tavi!
I am in agreement with Ellington about French Vogue and that overse*ualized little girl. I was deeply shocked. That is sick in world where it is so hard to fight child p*rn and other dirty expl*itations of children. The fashion world is off track. Far off track with these things.
This girl is too young too for photoshoots. Just as Elle Fanning. That Marc Jacob’s perfume ad with a perfume bottle with a rose between her legs made me feel more than sick! Ain’t nothing sacred anymore? Let the children be children as long as possible. Acting as a child is fine when the child is guarded in the right way. She was indeed great in True Grit. And I truly believe in safe company with someone like Jeff Bridges a father of beautiful daughters.
I don’t understand who 14 yr old actress’ appeal too – what demographics? These young nymphettes should be hawking maybelline or neutrogena. Yes indeed the fashion / advertising industry has lost its way. It is like creativity has gone stale. One last thing – sometimes it feels as if there are various levels of toddlers & tiaras within 21st century pop culture.
