It’s been a while since my last Sasha post, so please be nice with me. And her? Sasha Pivovarova is fronting Juicy Couture’s Viva la Juicy Perfume Ad Campaign as photographed by Inez and Vinoodh.
She’s looking lovely as usual next to the oversized perfume bottle and the fuchsia bow and fuchsia writing (pink is so hot right now). Just like a bit kitty cat. Which. She. Is. Not. Please Sasha, get back in fashion. We miss you? I miss you? (I appreciate Juicy’s aim for Haut/e, I strongly advice them to stick with their own league and contract some other face for their campaigns? I know she gained some weight, but I’m sure Paris Hilton would be more than happy to model for them)
The frilly ‘new money’ opulence of Juicy Couture’s aesthetics, although cleverly played out next to Sasha in a provocative campaign perfectly executed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, clashes with her haute fashion profile.
The perfume is described as perfect for going wild at a wonderful fancy party with, eventually, a trouble twist somewhere along the line… The photo shooting was a 3-in-1 type of action when Sasha was actually captured on camera not just for the Viva La Juicy perfume ad campaign but also for Viva La Juicy Noir and Viva La Juicy La Fleur, the two other versions of the Viva La Juicy fragrance by Juicy Couture.
This changes a bit the velour track suit game, doesn’t it?
