Kristen Stewart Does Vogue US February 2011

Looking for a way to insure the sales of its magazine, Anna Wintour brought Twilight sensation, serious actress wannabe Kristen Stewart for the Vogue US February 2011 issue.

I’m not certain there’s also a movie release to coincide with this cover, but as far as twiharders go, there’s no need for a special occasion to promote Kristen Stewart or any other twi – related personalities. Photographer: Mario Testino. (no word on the stylist yet). Also – we’ll try to pretend her arm isn’t aching and that this is a fashionable change from the tummy cramp posture. (photo via)

Next Kim Kardashian? Since these reality types are called “stars”?
(I like this girl normal looks btw. I’m not bashing her.)

ajginerella- don’t lump a Kardashian w/ Kristen,it’s insulting. Kristen’s been acting since she was 9 yrs old, has worked with Foster, Penn and de Niro to name a few respected actors. You obviously are a sheep that follows the tabloid gossip for entertainment news and doesnt’ have a mind of her own. Grab a clue!

to StyleFizz- I could do w/out the snark. “serious wannabe actress”? lol you wish you had an ounce of her talent. That’s why you are what her boyfriend Robert Pattinson calls a “nerdy little blogger”.

Kristen has been acting for over ten yrs and she’s just 20. Harding a reality type. Do a little research before you make a comment “not bashing” bc you sound rather simple. (I’m not bashing)

yeah, how dare Kristen grace the blessed cover that’s been graced with such greats like Jessica Biel, recently of that cinematic classic, “The A-Team!” Vogue always covers their magazine with pretty young HOllywood things, at least Kristen has more on her resume than “Gossip Girl”–she’s only 20 and has already been hand picked by David Fincher, Mike FIggis, Sean Penn, and Barry Levinson for roles. Stop acting like she didn’t work before Twilight.

Oh sorry Jess! You’re obviously a passionate Kristen fan. Didn’t meant to be offensive towards her. I know she’s an actor. I should have seen her in Into The Wilde (twice; I remember her vaguely) and Panic Room but can not remember her really? Again, sorry!
My only “guilty gossip pleasure” is to “read” the UK’s Daily Mail. The best are the commenters though. :)
Daily Mail is also very quick with photos of fashion and red carpet events and such. Gossip is everywhere. Even serious even prestigious news papers do gossip. The world is filled with it and keep us entertained in a way right? Where did you read what Rob said? :)

What is she doing here with that expression of eternal constipation?? she should be on the cover of Vogue Teen, where her demographic (age or mentality) belongs.
Co-staring with big names doesnt make an actor/actress better than s/he really is.
JLo worked with Fonda/Redford/Banderas… Does it make her a good actress?NO.
Lindsey Lohan worked with Meryl Streep among others.Does it make her a good actress?NO again
Please people, if you want to start a discussion, at least use solid arguments ,otherwise its difficult to take you seriously.

I think Kristen looks very attractive & I admire her nonchalant attitude to fame but this cover just reaffirms my opinion that US Vogue is a high end tabloid & that creativity / inspiration is dead in the water when it comes to fashion.
On another note why do people get so agro when someone’s opinion is not the same as theirs? ajgingerella your initial question is valid to me. Who next? A Kardashian because pop culture seems to be where the inspiration is now.
