I was waiting for this to happen: Everybody Hurts reedited. With some notable names, not to mention voices, REM’s amazing song goes live once more for Haiti.
If you’re a sensitive soul, like I know you are, brace yourself. The images don’t make you feel the joy of “hanging on” but mostly the hurt of “everybody hurts”. I know “We are the world” was pretty offbeat and too loud, but you have to agree this is one masterpiece (even with Miley on!). Isn’t it?

I see no video?? Not that this “sensitive soul” planned to listen to it as I’ve never listened to that “We are the world” remake. I’m that stubborn you see.
How could Michael Stipe do that? What on earth was he thinking? And what about Chile and many more countries? Sighs…..donate to the Red Cross or Doctors Without Borders people they are always the first at the place of the disasters and the last that leave. Support them permanent if you can effort it………
*if you afford it and want to make the effort*……..
there’s still no video up for you? I checked and double checked, it’s there alright! It’s a slow loader, though…
argh, even my correction is wrong…..
Kpriss, I’m waiting and waiting but no video shows up…..but I’m not going to watch it. I’m really that stubborn! :)
there’s something not quite right about these perfectly made up multi-millionaire celebrities telling the devastated Haitian populace that they sympathize with them. (note song lyrics.)
Not to be biased but I do prefer the Canadian song for Haiti by
Young Artists for Haiti called “Waving Flag”. It is up beat, looks forward and it always makes me feel positive. : )
