I always thought the high fashion consumer has to be someone stylish and truly refined. Also experimenting with fashion imagery rarely got me in such a tasteless place like this new Prada Spring Summer 2010 ad campaign does.
The violence of the ad message makes my head spin. Though it should focus on clothes and accessories, the image is highly disturbing due to the incredibly visible lipstick. Prada’s Summer 2010 looks like a plain and boring one (despite of Rasa Zukauskaite’s loveliness – without the red/orange lipstick). I miss the enchanted bugs delirium! Would you buy Prada just by looking at these images signed by Steven Meisel? (photos via)

The clothes and accessories are lovely I really like them, but the ad with the model is rather not to my liking. It is way harsh.
She looks like she’s made of plastic!
The campaign is boring, and the red lipstick to much. But Rasa is a wonderful newcomer.
I found this BW Portrait of her in the net.
Yes, because I just fall in love with collection. However, I think they could come up with a new idea of the ads.
Still, the back detail is to die for!
yep, that flowery dress is a dream, you’re right about that! Rasa too is a splendid young woman. But these ads… the lipstick? I was hoping for the campaign to grow on me, instead I come back and each time I feel deranged by the violent lipstick…
