In the new tradition of “book is the new black”, here comes another fashion explanatory tome, this time from Prada.
If you think fashion is something everyone (and their respective dogs) can handle, then get this: this 30 years print Prada recap (only) has 706 pages! It’s basically another way to establish fashion as a cultural institution falling only under the laws of luxury. Prada is not for everyone, and the $150 price tag is proof enough. I’d take a box of chocolates instead! What can I say, I’m a simple girl and I have simple needs. Chocolate is (soooo) good! Especially around Christmas! (via)

I totally agree!!!
There’s no need of another fashion book, heavy like a brick.. and that it’s going to be the new place in the house to collect dust!
And for what?! 150$??
Maybe I’m not intellectual enough, but for me it’s a big no-no.
I’ll buy it if I could browse it and I was interested in. Ok, it’s expensive, but I LOVE ( yes, in capital letters and they aren’t big enough) books and probably read and watch it anytime I could-need.

It is a nice coffee table book and they usually do run that price because of the cost of the colour plates.
It is for fans of Prada of course.
I like Prada but I love chocolate. :)
Give me the chocolate too! I’ve though some expensive fashion books. The old masters needed to be on my bookshelves! Not on a “coffee table”. So snobbish, I’ve also rather nice chocolate on my table next to the coffee.
