I’ve got a good news and a bad news for my Converse ladies! Let me start with the good, hopefully the effect will take you through the following downer with a smile on your face (still)!
Lanvin has created a special Converse sneaker for Lanvin’s 120th anniversary! It’s called “en Bleu” ’76 Leather. Besides having the legendary trademark One Star on the sides, there’s also a Lanvin tag sewn onto the heel. (the story continues with more images right after the jump!)
Before you start jumping up and down, read the bad news: rumor has it that only 120 such high fashion Converse pairs were produced. Sigh. Limited Editions are so unfair! (Openers via Hypebeast)
OMG…this is unfair!!!!
That is okay for me. When they do things like this it is for those who collect runners not for those who actually wear them. There are people who collect the limited edition shoes, for prosperity more than for style.
I’ve heard stories about limited editions, may people buy them but don’t have the chance to wear them. I can’t say that is a bad news for me, I’m not into Converse anyway:)
I’ve no room for collections anyway I struggle already with the room I have. I love a “normal” Converse that’s good enough for me.
