Anna Sui 2009 Haircare Line

I can see why people go for a label or another. When it comes to wearing things. But when it comes to care/beauty products, I’m a bit puzzled.

So I’ll use presenting Anna Sui’s Haircare line as a pretext to ask you how do you choose your beauty/care products? Because this new Anna Sui line is using the catwalk backstage as speculation, saying that is has been tested and proven efficient there. (and yes, that is Agyness!) To my experience (and I’ve had long hair as long as I can remember it), quick fix products for hair are just as big fat lie as wonderbras. Because they can look good for few hours tops, but, eventually, the truth will come out! I know this could look harsh for delicate eyes, but if you read it in all honesty, you’ll see my point.

So many beauty/care products out there crochet a world of lies just to get some financial attention! And I don’t know if it’s just a legend or just another bag of fine crocheted marketing, but they say professional beauty/care products are the best and supermarket ones are just leftovers… I only swear on easy exterior-care, but I strongly believe that true and lasting beauty comes from inside. From every aspect of the “inside”! I don’t expect people who smoke (or worse) and breathe the heavy club air every night to have a flawless complexion or immaculate features (at least not endlessly) and I tend to preach healthy living as the miracle remedy to so many minor (beauty) flaws. But what did your experience teach you? How do you keep yourself as beautiful as you are? Which beauty lie convinced you to buy something that was really incoherent with the label/ad? (photos 1, 2)
