I always preferred good advertising campaigns for fast fashion retailers. The good ones! There’s something relaxed, authentic about some of them, a broken rhythm you won’t find in haute couture/luxury houses ads.
Gap’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund’s collection this year is on the khaki. Savannah moods, urban jungle looks, Gap’s khakis are signed by Alexander Wang, Albertus Swanepoel, Sophie Buhai, Lisa Mayock (Vena Cava). (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures!)
Last year’s white shirts were a blast, but classy chic is perpetuated with this beige/khaki collection. True to the Gap spirit, the new khakis come Anna Jagodzinska, Arlenis Sosa, Coco Rocha and Raquel Zimmermann! The four beauties, photographed by Craig McDean with the designers from Gap’s 2009 CFDA/Vogue FF collection look fresh, young and highly fashionable. Just what I needed for this summer! Those shorts will soon find their way to my wardrobe! Simply irresistible! (via)
