louisvuitton_US is the name, Twitter is the game! Louis Vuitton just joined the world’s most fashionable online community: Twitter. Rumor has it that if you’re not on Twitter, you don’t really exist. Sad but true: Twitter is the new e-it.
More and more celebs and notorious personalities (or institutions) join Twitter with each passing day so I have to ask, Marc, what took you so long? And that’s not all! They just launched a new bag exclusively online! Given their recent restriction to LV online shopping only on louisvuitton.com, it only comes as a natural progression that they give e-commerce what it really deserves! (the bag is called Totally Monogram and it’s one of those rigid LV canvas totes that’ll make the delight of counterfeiters around the world!). Will you follow LV’s tweats? I don’t excist! LOL! I tried Twitter last Saturday night. I wanted to follow our Dutch film crew in Cannes. I know lots off people who are involved and regonised their names. What a hell! I still cannot “follow” them…..but I had in 5 minutes 3 followers on my account! Why? I wrote just nonsense so it must have been the name I’d use on Twitter. I was able to read some tweeters….at last I got sleepy, now that’s boring!
You go on Twitter Kpriss? I’m not going to follow you. I’m not going to follow anybody certainly not LV. This is a thing I let go: so I do not excist, I’m so not “it”…..so be it……
I am on Twitter but I don’t know about following LV.
I did to follow news updates from CNN and Channel 4 news.
Ellington not BBC World? Or is Channel 4 news better? I’d know they have interesting programmes. I prefer BBC World far above the repetitive CNN hysteria.
hmmm.. I have to say, I’ve got my reserves concerning Twitter. I know everyone is crazy about that and twitting became the socializing par excellence but haven’t had the time to get that under my skin. (I do have a Twitter account, on Stylefrizz, but that’s about it…)
So, Ellington, since you’re obviously more into it than us, would you please, kindly, introduce us to the advantages of Twitter? (I really haven’t done the pros and the cons yet)
Well I think Twitter is one of those things that you either like or don’t. It has its uses and if you like getting fast blips of information it can be interesting.
I don’t go on it a lot, I use Facebook more. Facebook I find fun and entertaining as some of my buds are on it.
I like Channel 4 news Adriana because I got into watching it while I was living in Manchester.I like Jon Snow and the rest of the news team and how they approach the news with a oft rye sense of humour and seriousness. They often ask good and compelling questions when they interview people.
As for CNN I like to watch Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon, they are excellent reporters. : )
Oh, I believe Twitter can be very useful and informative in certain situations. At some jobs for instance? I love to follow a certain Cannes tweet-tweet now! But to follow LV? No way. Or even the news, I see and read enough news and the news is almost never that great anymore plus the news is fast enough for me. Nothing perso Ellington each to their own….I don’t like it either when you’ve conversation with someone and that person checks his/her texts all the time…….
hmmm I think I get it – it’s like an infusion of Quick Links ;)
Yep!
