Everything revolving around Green Veranda seems fairy tale-ish! Not only they have the simpler, most efficient slogan I’ve ever heard about, but their products are just great!
“Yesterday’s news is tomorrow’s fashion” ! And that’s not about the Fashion Week season! It’s Green Veranda’s way to encrypt in a marketing savant manner how their work is done: the newspapers they recycle into wearable items! (don’t miss the rest right after the jump!)
Green Veranda started with Denise Marques. But she quickly realized she wasn’t alone trying to make a difference. She’s working with a co-op of 32 women located in Brazil, actively supporting and embracing Fair Trade, Saving our Planet and Giving Back initiatives.
Each one of the unique items is entirely hand-made and for every sold item, Green Veranda plants a tree in the USA (plus you can select a non profit organization that will receive 10% of the profits for the sale).
Getting back to the products: you can find so many beautiful things chez Green Veranda, I really had a hard time selecting just few ones for this article. Earrings, necklaces, belts, bags, clutches, home decoration items (trays, clocks), they all looks impressive! Fashion with a conscience indeed! Would you wear Green Veranda? How fantastic! And I agree with Deka, the round bag is super fun. I’d totally carry it.
Me too, I love to carry that round bag! LOL and I bet we are totally different women that makes it even better!
We’ve a Fair Trade shop here in my city, I’ve to ask if they are familiar with Green Veranda.
