Milla Jovovich Sings On The Soundtrack Of Underground, The Movie

The days of the model-model are long gone. Now every model has to be at least designer, photographer, actor or singer (or the other way around!).

Milla Jovovich is one of those models who’s done fashion design, acting and now she’s into singing. To my greatest surprise I just discovered that Milla’s voice is featured on the soundtrack of the just released movie Underground: Rise Of the Lycans with a wonderful piece sang by The Cure. (more about Milla, the song bird, right after the jump!)

The track is called Underneath the Stars and the Underground soundtrack version features Puscifer and Milla. I’m not sure how this collaboration came to light, what I first said to myself was that Milla’s voice is special because it’s Milla’s.

Milla Jovovich Paris singing However, searching for more information on the matter, I found out that Milla has a fruitful singing career: she released her first music album in 1994 (called The Divine Comedy).

Ever since she continued to sing and write music, performing here and there. (you can read more about Milla’s music on her website, here). I know it’s an alternative sound, but Milla isn’t that bad of a singer after all, is she?

You can read/listen more about Underground: Rise of the Lycans here and about the soundtrack here, more about Puscifer here and here. (via, photo via millaj.com)

Mila is a person who I like and admire. She was great in The Messenger (The Joan of Arc film) and I liked her Jovovitch/Hawk clothing line and I like her voice and her work as a model.
I like her because she is a doer and she seems fearless. : )

Milla Jovovich is a very interesting and multi talended woman. Wonder Woman to me.
She’s great in everything she does. How is it possible…..??
Since I like her that much I’d searced for some info too. This video is inspired by a short movie made in 1943 by Maya Deren “Meshes of the Afternoon”. (See YouTube)

I like music as long as it has a certain quality and originality whether its alternative rock, metal or hard rock, soul, funk, jazz, classic, you name it I don’t care…..it has to touch my heart and soul.

Ellington, about Scarlett Johansson of late I heard her at night on the radio and I agreed with the dj that since she seemed to have had singing classes she did sound much better than I stated earlier!

True, she was wonderful in The Messenger but to be honest – I’d love any actress cast in that role.
Jeanne d’Arc is my lifetime heroine xx
