I ask myself many times what makes a super model. Not the bones and height kinda question but especially what brings out a model from the average status of clothes presenter into a fashion guru. Or something similar.
Here’s another one of those cases of wait, what?-kinda model! Pixie Geldof..ahem Little Pixie Geldof, born in 1990 has always been a media darling because of her continuous and stubborn stylista tryouts on her own persona. Especially if you’re the offspring of someone really famous instantly makes you rebellious. (more after the jump)
Pixie’s fashion rebellion is a notable one. 2009’s first snap was leopard print ft purple lace tights. From that to veritable Agent Provocateur model was just a five seconds walk. Posing for the Spring Summer 2009 campaign of the lingerie brand that featured her sister, Peaches Geldof for the Season Of the Witch ads, Pixie impersonates an innocent young woman.
How that measures up to her fashion disastrous ways, it’s beyond me. Unless Agent Provocateur purposely engages rebellious celeb offsprings for a little rock’n’roll in their commercial fight for some extra percents of the market. Do you think Pixie makes a good model? Does it really matter if she is a good model? She only has this opportunity because her father is (Sir)Bob Geldof and her mother was the tragic Paula Yates. Soon not so wee anymore Tiger Lily (the daughter of Paula Yates and Michale Hutchence) will be flashing her nickers. Just following the path of infamy like her sisters.
