The controversial collection signed Alexander McQueen was (in my opinion) a very beautiful one. The only flaw was the omnipresent corset. But if you take that away (and the tights from the models faces), you’re left with a brilliant (literally) collection.
Cate Blanchett chose a dress from Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2009 and she did no wrong. Like she always does, she managed a great appearance for the World Premiere of The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. Who was your favorite lady for the night? Angelina, Tilda or Cate? (photos via justjared)

Cate? Tilda? Hard to chose….do I have to chose? I can’t I love both……I like it how the dress has been upgrade for an older woman with the matching longer skirt. Perfect!
I love all three of these women, for their respective style and for their acting!
I cannot chose! I adore Cate’s dress!
Oh by the way JLo was there too and she looked nice in her gown.
I like Cate’s outfit more than the others. Because:
JLo’s Cavalli looked really strange (I couldn’t tell if it was the cleavage, the slimming underpants or her face), Angie’s Versace was… well… black… and Tilda’s Rodarte (even if I love Rodarte) was perfectly plain (she looked like a fairy, but she had something, in her face, that didn’t paired with that dress).
Now you know ;)
JLo although gorgeous, looked like she was going to the Playboy Mansion.
I like Cate’s outfit but I feel its a pity the flesh coloured skirt wasn’t full length. It would have made it look a little less ‘cocktail’. Anyway Cate’s already an icon so it doesn’t really matter.
I go to YouTube for while…..staring at sexy male performers…..sighs…..
Cate. 100% Cate.

Everyone loves Cate! She can do no wrong. And Alexander McQueen is one of my favorite designers. Such a good pairing. Plus, it’s refreshing to see Cate wearing something different than Armani.
Cate looks terrific in that dress. She never plays it safe, but in 99% of the time still manages to look mind-blowing, that’s why I love her so much (♥ ♥ ♥)
