Matthew Williamson Butterfly Scarf As Seen On Robert Downey Jnr

While doing my roundups over the Internet for some serious fashion and style scoops, I found something most confusing.

You already know that the fashion industry would be completely lifeless if it wouldn’t be for our beloved celebrities. Who wears what, how and when are some of the questions every fashionista in the making asks around. Even the average fashion consumer (gossip consumers too) is avid to know the answer to those questions for their upcoming wardrobe investments. Today’s celebrity-wearing-what-case is this Robert Downey Jr scarf. (more after the jump)

Robert Downey Jnr Matthew Williamson Butterfly scarf

The scarf is an authentic Matthew Williamson. The good news is that you can find this scarf with the current issue of InStyle UK. Whether in pink or in blue, the scarf can be yours to wear as you please and play the Robert Downey Jr with your own Matthew Williamson. What you might not know is that this Matthew Williamson is part of the Butterfly Collection, a designer’s collection from Debenhams.

Matthew Williamson Butterfly scarf blue pink

Debenhams hosts a designer’s line signed by our very own Matthew Williamson. I’m not trying to dispute his fashion views, but I couldn’t see a H&M regular buying his/her clothing (or accessories) also from Debenhams. H&M doesn’t target the same clients Debenhams does. Given these details, aren’t you even more curious to find out how the Hennes and Mauritz featuring Matthew Williamson is going to look like? (photos via)

I think that he pulls it off quite well actually!
And, I’m off to buy InStyle tomorrow – I’m in the UK and I WANT THE SCARF! x

I like the blue one. But there are pretty scarves everywhere.
I hardly think Robert Downey Jr actually went out and bought that scarf. His personal dresser probably garnered it from a professional shopper or somewhere.

I agree with Dolly Bird, there are pretty scarves everywhere. And so nice to change my mood, attitude….scarves rules!
Pleased to see a man as Robert Downey Jr. on this dark Sunday…….

He looks rather dapper in it, and it is a nice scarf. I too like scarfs, I feel in love with them as a girl watching Audrey Hepburn wear them in her various films. She knew how to wear a scarf! : )

Debenhams is actually quite downmarket, it’s not at all like Harrods/Selfridges/Harvey Nichols. They don’t sell ‘real’ designer stuff, just tacky ‘x for Debenhams’ fusion ranges, and various designer off-shot jeans/fragrances lines.

Stefanie Grace, I hope you found your scarf-inStyle! or better, that you found both, in pink and blue!

I’m not arguing his good looks! In fact I think he pulled it off quite nicely, being rather discrete in the same time (he was dressed up for a dinner with Jude Law). I don’t even know if he’s a Debenhams customer, I was just asking if Williamson can do “tacky”, how can he manage H&M? Ironman wears Matthew Williamson! ;) now that’s a good title for Mr Williamson!

Haha – Thanks! I found the blue one – not a big fan of pink, though if its just a scarf, maybe it’s worth going back!
Thanks for the recommendation – I went straight out and bought it!

PS. anybody else thinking “dressed up for dinner with jude law” – jealous! ? :)

I’m glad you found it! Pink could work too, besides, you never know what shade of pink actually is.

Ohhh, not a shade of jealousy! Fact is, I find Robert D. Jr to be a good professional and that’s about it. Glad he got out of his addictions and that he can finally put his capacities to work for better purposes than before.

And Jude Law well.. how to put this delicately… I think he’s rather uninteresting both as a professional and as a person.

I actually agree with you there – I find him to be a particularly boring individual. I was referring to the lifestyle – just off to meet a fellow movie star for dinner at , no doubt, a very fancy restaurant!
I’m a poor 4th yr student at the moment, so it struck a chord! lol

Though, thanks – I do love my scarf!
