Vogue Paris November 2008 No. 892. Vanessa Paradis. A picture that makes me forgive the obvious Photoshop intrusion.
Vanessa Paradis shows her perfectly cover-fit pose on the cover of Vogue Paris November 2008, issue falling under the Fatal Beauty story line. I was recently misinformed into believing that Paris Hilton was on the cover of this Vogue Paris issue. It was something that I couldn’t understand nor explain. Fortunately, it was just a mistake: Paris has indeed covered the French Vogue, in November. 2006! I also want to thank you, my faithful readers, who promptly came and helped with valuable information that led to correcting the error. Thank you, here’s Vanessa Paradis covering the November 2008 French Vogue! (photos via tfs)

Yoh! I hardly recognised her when I saw it.Great cover! I think Vanessa needs very little photoshopping in general. She’s got good bone structure and is so photogenic. Not to mention a natural ‘Prune’ pose ( Ellington!).I tried it in front of the mirror the other day but I looked like a fish!
Thank you vry much photoshop !
Dolly Bird indeed she’s a natural beauty, but that soft perfect skin is a natural Photoshop! ;)
You got me trying the Prune myself! Now I understand why I couldn’t have been a model! :)) fish it is!
Loretta, you said it!
Allen and Fashion Critic, thank you for your help! It’s always a pleasure to receive feedback from people you read and value for their work!
I like Vanessa Paradis a lot. I just like her. She don’t need to “prune” as doesn’t Kate Moss. Some women just have the natural “prune”. I look silly too doing it and I better stick to Drew Barrymore’s advice. No, not very lady-like but it looks better and a photo does not speak…..
I think Vanessa looks a bit harsh here. Photoshop? I didn’t regonised her either at first Dolly Bird….
Its such a pity my French is so bad because this looks like a great Vogue issue.
Now that is MUCH better! This is a cover that I can take and take to!
Vanessa’s photo reminds me of the vintage Vogue covers when they used drawings. Its nicely done. : )
Oh and ladies the prune might be better in a photograph then with you looking in a mirror saying it. You probably don’t look like a grouper fish! Try it next time someone photographs you! ; )
What a sultry photo.
LOL Kpriss it seems some of us here have been fishing for compliments :)
Ellington I had someone snap an instamatic Polaroid of me doing it and guess what?! I didn’t look like a fish…I looked like a duck!LOL! I think I’ll stick to pruning my rose bushes.
Okay then Dolly Bird try saying “Quack” instead in your photos, you might just be pleasantly surprised!
: )
LOL. Again, our sweet photoshop did a great job. Without make up and photoshop, this woman looks awful.
