Funny. The first years I lived all by myself in a small place I had an old trunk as a kind of desk! A really old one, very big! One that used people for long trips on ships in the past. When I needed something I had to take off everything on it to get something which was in the trunk. It looked great and was a handy solution for keep a lot off things in it.

wow, this is beautiful…I’ve just bought an old caravan to live in and I’m doing it over with old-style furniture…this desk would be perfect!
