Rounding up the most noteworthy news, clips and tidbids so you’ll be au jour with the latest entertainment&style happenings, here’s a quick review of what you need to know this Monday morning:
Cara Delevigne, wedding star
While everyone is freezing at New York Fashion Week, British model star Cara Delevingne attended a very important wedding this weekend. Her sister, Chloe got married to property broker Ed Grant! Congrats to the newlywed couple! (hopefully Cara didn’t steal the spotlight from the happy bride!)
Stephanie Seymour provocative photos with her sons in Harper’s Bazaar
Stephanie Seymour has been in and out of motherhood controversy hot wire ever since she was photographed on the beach hugging and kissing her elder son more than in a motherly manner. But fashion got in the way so suddenly everything’s artsy, even her unconventional motherhood ways.
Sebastian Faena photographed Stephanie Seymour (45) and her two older sons Peter Brant Jr (20) and Harry Brant (17) in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar for a story called ‘Mum’s The Word’, written by Derek Blasberg. The piece is actually meant to cast away any forbidden love shadow as Stephanie raised her boys properly and they’re all part of a ‘fashion fun’ family. By fashion standards, biensur!
Harper Beckham joins her brothers and father in the Front Row at mom’s Fashion Show!
And she’s looking pretty adorable while doing so! Dressed in grey and beige with a bow-adorned bun atop of her pretty head, little Harper sat in her father, David Beckham’s lap while watching Victoria’s Beckham latest catwalk presentation at the New York Fashion Week.
Someone actually walked the Red Carpet wearing a Paper Bag!
While we’re used to swear that this and that star could literally wear a paper bag on the Red Carpet (or anywhere else) and still look good, when it actually happened, it wasn’t really what we expected! Hollywood wild child Shia LaBeouf wore a paper bag at the Berlin premiere of his latest movie, Lars Von Trier Nymphomaniac
Carefully cutting eye-holes in the brown bag, Shia wrote ‘I Am not Famous Anymore” in capital black letters. I’m afraid this message goes the opposite way, Shia, as this will certainly become a meme soon enough… Especially after this one-line exit from a press conference:
Valentino apologized for tasteless funeral PR stunt involving Amy Adams and her bag!
Attending the funeral of Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams was seen carrying a rather elegant burgundy bag identified by Valentino’s PR team as being the $3,275 Valentino Garavani Rockstud Double bag. Following a sustained backslash from pretty much everyone who got word of their release, Valentino’s spokeswoman issued a public apology on behalf of the brand and those responsible:
We were not aware the photograph was taken while she was attending the wake of Philip Seymour Hoffman. It was an innocent mistake and we apologize to Ms. Adams who was not aware, or a part of, our PR efforts.
La Luna Pixar short finally available online!
For animation lovers out large, this is major news! One of the best Pixar shorts ever made, La Luna, is finally available online! Every new movie released by Pixar is accompanied by a short animated story. A compressed formula of Pixar’s magic storytelling, La Luna was released in November 2011 with Brave.
Directed and written by Italian artist Enrico Casarosa who was also part of Pixar’s team for Up, Ratatouille and Cars. Rumor has it, that this year, Pixar will release The Good Dinosaur and Enrico is head of the story! Can’t wait to see it, La Luna was such an amazing short story!
Paul McCartney New
This is the song I’m starting the week with! Playing on repeat, I’m making this more than a Friday Break thing: I’m making it a New Week thing! Happy, joyful, all positive and loveful, Paul McCartney New is a player, a keeper, an inspirational!
Part of Paul McCartney’s 16th studio album titled just the same ‘New’ and released last fall (October 2013), New was also included on the soundtrack of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Sony’s animated flick released in 2013.
