A girl can wear as many looks as she pleases, but some outfits are mandatory in one’s wardrobe! Badgley Mishcka designed a handful of timeless looks to remember and re-create in the privacy of everyone’s wardrobe!
Voluminous skirts or pencil skirts alike complete lady-like classy silhouettes for office hours as well as out-of-office occasions. Smart, elegant, sassy, the 7 looks I want you to save for later inspiration start with:
Head-to-toes black look
While wearing an all-black outfit may sound too harsh, style-wise, Badgley Mischka added a small but meaningful detail to balance out the very dark look: a bow-belt! The snake print tights are also a key element in differentiating this ensemble from all others. Notice the textured fabric as well as the bejeweled gloves!
Boucle classic dress with pockets
This is one of those perfectly versatile gowns that go fabulously toned down underneath a well structured jacket for office hours as well as for after-work cocktails when you don’t need to dress up. The girly flirty see through inserts are as playful as they are sartorially relevant for the construction of the skirt. Notice the see-through décolleté and shoulders line as well as the smart pockets!
Sequined skirt with black turtleneck
One of the easiest, smartest way to trick down a too-sparkly item or to add a je-ne-sais quoi to an otherwise too classic outfit. The gradient sequins appliqué makes quite the statement in contrast with the simple, black turtleneck sleeveless top. It’s a versatile look flattering many silhouettes! Notice the precious fur scarf and the booties a la Carine Roitfeld!
Mixed print wool dress
While these could very well be two separate items, they look so good and so coherent together, that it’s hard to conceive they’re not part of the same dress! A classic game of visual prints where nothing was left to chance, continuing with the tights and even the textured belt. Notice the cat-eyed sunglasses and the diagonal cut of the shoes!
Mixed print pencil skirt copper dress
A variation of the look above, only with a carefully structured pencil skirt. The copper upper body features as heavily decorated hemline while the look is finished with chocolate brown lace booties. Notice the gunmetal long oval nails with rhinestones and the snakeskin tights!

Ample skirt wool copper dress
Nothing beats the timeless figure of a retro dress paired with the just-right accessories! This dress could easily be worn by everyone’s favorite princess, Kate Middleton but also by any of us! It’s really fabulous, timeless and elegant all around. Notice the contrasting tights and the sharply constructed shoes as well as the fur hat and scarf and the oh-so-wonderful pockets!
Flower brocade strapless ball gown
Just the right dress if you’re trying to feel perfectly comfortable but also elegant and very feminine while attending a formal soiree. The colors combo is just divine and, all by being a classic cut, this dress could be accessorized in so many ways as to match the wearer and the occasion as well (think a contrasting belt or significantly elegant elbow-length gloves, even a hat or a statement uni-color necklace).
