Lovely, lovely Jennifer Lawrence won at the 2013 SAG Awards tonight! And in all justice too, Jennifer is really talented and so involved in what she does! Isn’t it amazing, to be part of a mega franchise, like the Hunger Games, and still be able to be part of and receive recognition for your other works? There’s a reason why I chose to talk about her right after I mentioned Marion Cotillard: Jennifer Lawrence was wearing a strapless Christian Dior Couture blue dress, from the just presented Couture Spring 2013 collection.
She looked radiant and stunning like always, even though she was really under the weather suffering with pneumonia. Watching her, living her emotion, you really couldn’t tell she wasn’t at the top of her shape. However, as much as I think she put on a great show there tonight, I still think she could’ve opted for a better, more flattering dress.
This Dior Couture blue dress, although masterfully executed, I’m certain, wasn’t the prettiest shape, or the most exquisite to be worn by Jennifer Lawrence. Not to mention the awkward wardrobe malfunction when Jennifer got up to the stage to accept her award! (it wasn’t a wardrobe malfunction per se, truth being told, but the revealing underlayers of her gown didn’t help either). Please do better for the Oscars? (images Getty; styledotcom)
