Talking about legendary models – we saw Stella Tennant earlier, in the Versace Atelier Spring 2013 collection (Kristen McMenamy opened the show), but nothing matches the flawlessness that is Stephanie Seymour!
Her appearance in the Jason Wu Spring Summer 2013 Ad Campaign was a real delight. But that doubled when a second image from the campaign was released. One where not only Stephanie Seymour was in, but also Jason Wu himself!
What looked like clichés of sheer boredom, the Inez and Vinoodh shot images were actually the result of very careful and sustained interventions. Notice the lilies at the left? They changed position between the takes. Also, the meal courses have changed, while Stephanie was still on her asparagus and sauce, Jason came along with the sweets. I like that kind of attention for every detail! It adds a dash of reality to an otherwise dreamy set (clothes & all).
The only thing I don’t understand is the lack of enthusiasm! Come on people, let’s see some joy on those lovely faces!
