But there’s so much more going on inside this Vanity Fair March 2013 issue! Bruce Weber is responsible for the cover as well as for the entire Hollywood portfolio, the 19th of its kind.
Because, as you all know, in the wake of the Oscars, Vanity Fair issues its Hollywood portfolio. The hottest of the hottest Hollywood stars are rounded up in a – usually stunning – series of photographs. And such is the case right now, under master Bruce Weber’s directions, they all line up and act up in a 44 – page portfolio.
Looking nice on the cover, an interesting trifecta of Hollywood winners: Emma Stone, the undeniable crowned Hollywood sweetheart, Ben Affleck, the indisputably talented Hollywood wonder act, Bradley Cooper, the untouchable Hollywood charmer.
But there so much going on inside! So much glamour, so much old times charm and wit. Judging from the preview, this is one of those must – have collector’s issues. If not for the participants (although I’m sure you like at least three of the 100 featured in the issue), then for Bruce Weber’s photo – magic!
Just imagine: a 11,000 – square foot hangar with tables filled with 10,000 articles of clothing, 500 pairs of shoes, 200 pairs of sunglasses, $3 million worth of jewelry goind down in an eight – day star filled hangar party / shooting! Reading / typing this alone made me dizzy! I can’t wait for more images to surface, or – better – get myself a copy of this fancy issue straight from the newsstands!

I have never doubt Ben Affleck not even when he was with JLo or some of his other terrible movies. And it seemed he would never make it….:)
Have you seen Argo? I thought he was brilliant! The movie is so long (for his category) and I’m not a fan of political thrillers but I really didn’t feel the time pass! And that is an art in itself!
No, I haven’t. I will when it’s on dvd in my country. Kind of film that can be watched easily on the small screen.
This afternoon I went to see Django Unchained. But the noisy audience in line made me turn around….
Tarantino can draw this kind of crowds ;) but Django’s well worth it. We liked it more than we did Inglorious Basterds. And Christoph Walz is beyond words!
I know….alas….this was not the kind of group whose remarks I can handle really…. But this is the kind of film that need to be seen on the big screen. I’ll try again especially since I found a press conference with Tarantino and the crew. What the actors had to say moved me a lot. Something I hope people pick up but I doubt since I’d spent a lot of time reading comments at the Daily Mail website.
It’s a huge hit here by the way.
To be honest, I didn’t like Inglorious Basterds that much.
