Robin Wright Penn’s New Dark Hair

I hereby confess a weakness for Robin Wright-Penn. (scratch the Penn? Oh, it doesn’t matter!) I like the woman. And I thought (and still continue to do so) she made a wonderful pair with Sean Penn.

Where I failed to have a proper update on was Robin’s hair. I believe she was a blonde. Since forever? Which color goes better on Robin’s pretty head? Golden or post-brake-up black? Cast your vote right after the first picture! (if you need more images to decide, click through!) (photos via)

UPDATE: a couple of years later, we find Robin Wright with a new hair, a new man and new, successful TV show. Let’s talk about them, in that order:

She’s been a brunette briefly but cut her hair pretty short after the official separation from ex-husband Sean Penn, in 2010 and kept it short ever since. Robin’s new partner since 2012 is young Penn’s lookalike, actor Ben Foster (32) with whom she has been seen everywhere and most recently at the 2013 Emmy Awards.

Talking about the Emmys – Robin has a new TV show, Netflix’s House of Cards in which she’s costarring with Kevin Spacey, directed by the grand David Fincher. Although she was nominated, and even covered, with Kevin, the Emmy magazine, Robin didn’t receive the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (it went to Claire Danes, again, for her Homeland performance).

But back to the hair – once more we get to admire beautiful Robin in character as Claire Underwood (House of Cards) with short, dark hair. The question remains – do you like this hairstyle on Robin? The poll is after the first image, please cast your vote!
