You know you’re in fashion when this will happen to you! Proenza Schouler’s Spring Summer 2010 catwalk brought something new: hairy legs. (I’ll have to take a rain check for the actual collection, allow me to concentrate on this hairy problem for now!)

OMG are you kidding me? This is impossible….I hate hair on legs and I can’t undrst how some girls can’t stay unwaxed for months (specially in the winter). Maybe I’m mean but some of them are still at the monkey stage

Tavia, I’ve very light blonde/reddish body hair and not that much and I shave my legs only once a year: when summer starts. That’s it. I also don’t have a Brazilian wax…eeekkk…..further I shall not shock you. I do pluck my eyebrows a bit though.
But I’m not much like a “monkey” so I guess I’m lucky on that part?

Hairy stems? Well to each their own. I have been blessed not to have hair on my legs, so I have no need to wax or shave.

My beautiful ladies! Who cares about this hairy issue after all? This is fashion! Let’s enjoy ourselves and embrace the shallowness of it all! Hairy, Brazilian, who cares? Put a ridiculously high price tag on it and they’ll do it all! I’m still waiting for the LV monogram wax/shave! hellooo trouble!
This has got to be Carmen Kass, she hasn’t shaved her legs since she started more than ten years ago.
