I wish it wasn’t true! But after seeing M.I.A. unforgettably performing at the Grammy Awards with her sun-bright-yellow nails, now here come the followers!
Natalie Portman shows that she’s really in for brights these days. Wearing a daring pink Rodarte for the Oscars, now neon yellow nails polish? Unsure of this new trend I searched for some more information on Yellow Nail Polish, to confirm or infirm the trend and it seems they were in last summer (When did that happen?).
I kinda went along with black nails, had my fair share of black nails myself, few years back, not I’m again true to my French manicure. But would you wear bright yellow nails? (photos via jezebel)

it’s kind of exciting, but there’s something about yellow on the nails that seems a little, um, infected!

I just had yellow nails a few weeks ago, and while it was fun, I also felt really “unprofessional” or “ghetto” at times. However, I got a TON of comments on them, good and bad… So if you’re looking for something to wake people up, go for the yellow nails.
Hmmm, yellow nail polish … These are the thoughts running through my head … fungus, funny, ghetto, young, loud, and yuck. Unless I was dressing like a banana for Halloween, I think I will skip the yellow nails. Maybe its a generational thing, but as I approach 50, I don’t think I’d get any compliments if I opted for yellow nails. Could be cute worn with the right outfit and by the right girl. That girl ain’t moi.
