Paper’s Shredded Levis 501 By Stefan Sagmeister

It may look like a complete sacrilege, but it’s really outstandingly artistic! A pair of legendary Levis 501 shred to pieces and reassembled into a poster!

Stefan Sagmeister’s artistic works are hardly anonymous for the average visual art consumer. He was recently contracted by Paper Magazine to create a Levis deconstruction piece of art for their March 2009 Issue. (the story continues right after the jump!)

Posters of this artsy jeans making could be yours for free if you buy a pair chez American Rag (LA 150 S. La Brea Ave.) and San Francisco (1305 Van Ness Ave.) I wonder if we could manage something like this at home! (via)

I find it interesting from an artistic point of view.
