You’ve heard it too… Rumor has it that Anna Wintour’s reign was cut short by French Nemesis Carine Roitfeld.
Just when I was complaining that Vogue Paris is looking more and more like Vogue US with their celebrity covers, I may have found the reason why. Vogue Paris has became Carine’s training field for her future position: editor in-chief of Vogue US. It seems that recent cut backs in advertising and closing down Vogue Men made Wintour the perfect candidate for a downgrade. Hence, a dignified resignation. Could this be true? While everyone was waiting for Vogue Russia’s Aliona Doletskaya, Carine was making her own way to the States? (via)

Last I heard the rumours are’nt true. Carine loves her post in Paris and intends to stay put.
And a Condé Nast spokesman called the Anna-leaving rumours as “borderline theatre of the absurd”. Whatever will be the outcome. Even Sally Singer was thrown into the picture to blurr up even more the situation.

Wintour will strike back if this is true! Everyone knows that she is the Darth Vader of the magazine fashion world. The dark side of the force is strong with her! ; )
Could be, Dolly Bird! A new way of having fun! I recently discovered my photo-fun with Louis Vuitton was stolen and distributed by various websites all over internet. The funniest thing was they took the picture as an authentic ad campaign shot!
Now back to Anna, Carine and the rest of the Vogue clique… Gawker keeps updating that article and today they added a short fragment saying Vogue US rumors were denied by Carine’s daughter! None of the ladies involved said anything so the tension still remains…
Indeed, the force is strong in Wintour’s family… but Carine a strong force has too, I sense! hmmm.. Difficult times we live!
i’ve been ignoring all these articles because it simply CANNOT be true! vogue paris = carine, she made it what it is today!
so only once it’s confirmed i’ll actually acknowledge it haha
