Erykah Badu For Tom Ford White Patchouli Perfume

Tom Ford White Patchouli will breathe boutiques air in September this year and the ads are lead by Erykah Badu.

I know Ford uses sexual explicit adverts to promote his products. Or at least that’s what I was used to see. And looking at this White Patchouli black and white theme I can’t help but spying after the explicitness of it all. Besides the obvious head positioning and face expression? Is Ford sending his advertisers to church?

Of course I couldn’t forget the ever mystifying description of the perfume. I wish you the best of luck in decrypting it and don’t forget to let me know about your findings regarding the explicit content of the ad:

“For this project, I wanted to reinvent patchouli,(…) I loved the idea of mixing patchouli with white florals. We used patchouli orpur, which takes out some of the darker, smoky notes of patchouli. We mixed that with peony, bergamot, and jasmine. Additional notes include rose, coriander, and ambrette seed.”
