Not long ago I told you the magical story behind Heidi Klum’s designer career at Jordache Jeans.
Well, today I come with images to support that special story of a special talent – opening your wardrobe to a team of professionals who gets to pick out some pieces and reproduce them as such for the company’s benefits and your own, of course. She’s not second highest paid model for nothing our Heidi, is she? Well now, off you go delight your eyes with exclusive pieces from Heidi Klum’s Jordache Jeans Collection launched yesterday at Bloomingdale’s.
Refreshingly new perspectives and invigorating creative lines, right? Long live the celeb-turned-designers!

I assume that you meant this ironically, in Seidimoda we had also the pics (10?) of her, (was it in Los Angeles, yesterday?) appearence at the Bloomingdale store. Simone Marchetti made a short story further nothing, the pics speaks for themself. I think the REAL designers have to watch out for all the celeb designers, hahaha. Seriously it becomes really an issue now these days, there are a lot of young designers which don’t even get a change to show their collections. On the otherhand every celeb, if it is a singer, model, actress or whatever has already his/hers own clothing line. And that all because of the profits of some fashion companies, real designing isn’t important anymore. Kpriss, sorry if I’m a little bit to rude or emotional, but I really become a little sick and tired of all these socalled designers, all these celebs have to stick to their own business (and parties etc, they are masters in it if I read all the gossip magazines) and stay away from the real art which fashion is.
Oh, yes it was pure irony on bread! Not even butter added, roughly thought and roughly put. It’s outrageous and even more when you see it’s actually working. I mean people (in the business) don’t even get to spend money on finding and financing a proper designer, they just copy-cat a celeb-wardrobe and don’t even market it properly because it markets itself. What a comfortable market we’ve become… Sad, sad!
The most sad part of this all is that this world has become so celeb-obsessed that these marketing people do use the celebs just to satisfy the customers. Even the real designers invites these celebs to sit front-row to get more attention. The big labels use them for their ad-campaigns too instead of models.
The expensive labels are not affordable to the mass. I can’t afford these clothes either. I think people feels some of the glitz and fame by wearing “a name”. Or feel a bit like the ones they do admire??
Victoria Beckham’s jeans line was a flop…..so there is hope?
Therefore I do prefer my self-made clothes or buy in small boutiques. No change that I shall ever become a walking bill-board for a celeb line! I do buy good sun-glasses though but its hard to find one without a huge label. That’s a thing that saddened me too……label madness…..
