Harper’s Bazaar features a photoshoot in the April 2008 Issue called “Couture in Bloom” with a gorgeous fresh-faced Doutzen Kroes.
Nothing unusual until here. The photos show a princess-ballerina-like-Doutzen with almost bridal fairy tale-ish dresses from Christian Lacroix, Givenchy, Armani, Chanel, with hair arrangements from Bumble and Bumble and makeup from Chanel.

Well, with all that Chanel in sight isn’t anything ringing a bell? A tiny one? Then let me tell you who is the photographer behind this pictures – Karl Lagerfeld!

Looking at things from another perspective I get the feeling Doutzen is a puppet.

Nothing, in these pictures, makes her look alive.

The makeup doesn’t change, her expression is almost identical – like she would be a wax figure, a plastic molded perfect measured figure at Kaiser’s disposal.

Is this the new modeling idea?

OMG ITS BEAUTIFUL SHE ROCKS! =D
Oh sure Doutzen rocks! But on this photos she doesn’t. Someone who rocks does looks more alive?
It’s indeed as plastic as the Kaiser. Artificial and not even a beauty (I’m talking about the pictorial. Doutzen is lovely as we all know it!)
