Luxury Tastes Like Chocolate: Bvlgari Chocolate
February 7th, 2009 by kpriss
Everyone knows and/or wears Bvlgari. But not everyone knows that now you can also taste Bvlgari!
They just issued a special collection of hand made chocolates available in Bvlgari flagship stores. Simple yet very Bvlgari-spirited, the luxurious chocolates come packed in Bvlgari black boxes.
At a first glance, one could almost think the little black boxes look like jewelry boxes. Even though they hide a sweet treasure, would you take your little Bvlgari black box at home? I would consider buying them as special gifts (not necessarily Valentine’s Day related…) (via)

Glamour For Evening: La Perla Evening Bags Collection
February 7th, 2009 by kpriss
I always liked La Perla. They have a little something that catches my eye and impress me more than many other names in the industry.
When I first heard they were going for prêt-a-porter, I was thrilled and right I was because they translated their lingerie savoir-faire into clothing. And the result amazed me. Now I found out they’re also into bags.
The La Perla evening bags have an intimate and classy look. Combining silk with leather and jewelry into a little clutch sounds simple but the effect is above the expectations. What kind of bag do you prefer for evening? (via)
Recession Haute Couture: Evian By Jean Paul Gaultier
February 6th, 2009 by kpriss
There’s always room for fashion in our lives. With our without the recession, Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter will always insinuate in every fashionista’s daily routine.
Fashion it up with a Manolo Diet Coke, or simply with a bottle of Evian by Jean Paul Gaultier. This is not the first time Evian plays the fashion trick. They’ve done it before with Christian Lacroix and now they’re at it again with Jean Paul Gaultier. (more information, pictures and video right after the jump!)
Freshface Alexandrina Turcan
February 6th, 2009 by kpriss
Meet the younger, lighter (in every way) version of Scarlett Johansson! That’s the only thing that came to my mind when I saw this young Moldavian.
Blonde with blue eyes, Alexandrina Turcan measures 176/83/62/90 cm 5’9”/32.5”/24.5”/34” she was born in 1993 (yes, I know, she still has to live her tender years away from the spotlight… but still, she looks so much like Scarlett, I just couldn’t help but writing about it!). What do you say? will she become a catwalk girl or a stand-in for Scarlett? (via)
The Surprise-Blogaround!
February 6th, 2009 by kpriss
It’s time to offer you a carefully selected Blogaround moment, the thematic kind you love so much!
Today it’s about surprises… The first one is a pleasant one – Hillary Duff’s collection for DKNY Jeans looks more catchy than expected!
The second one is questionable. Dubious tasted fashionistas will surely feel honored to wear this Vena Cava dress…
Next it’s an-almost-unidentified object that could be a plane or whateverelse but is, actually a cuff By Abraxas Rex for Alexander Wang.
Since we’re on the metallic side of things, let me remind you that zippers should be taken more seriously because they make such a beautiful dress (with the help of Sebastian Errazuriz!).
Going down, we have to talk about this surprising black skirt standing on its own! Oh, no! It’s actually a Rick Owens shoe?
And what else better to end a surprise blogaround if not an Already Prettypoll about the surprising compliments you receive? (photo via catwalkqueen)
Bruce Springsteen Streets Of Philadelphia From Philadelphia
February 6th, 2009 by kpriss
Talking so much about The Wrestler got me thinking about another one of those smashing doings by The Boss: Streets Of Philadelphia.
Such a great movie and such a great song, I instantly pump up the volume of my stereo (in those rare occasions) when I hear it on the radio. I saw Philadelphia a long time ago, but Tom Hank’s performance is something that gives this movie more than a feeling of deceiving sadness. (you can read more about this Friday Break song right after the jump)
Repetto Shoes For Karl Lagerfeld (Repetto Short History)
February 5th, 2009 by kpriss
Since we’re talking about highly praised shoes today, let me introduce the new Repetto for Karl Lagerfeld.
It’s not the first time I heard the name Repetto and so I decided to look more for information. The result wasn’t really what I expected, so it’s double the pleasure of finding out that Repetto comes from Madame Rose Repetto. (don’t miss the rest of the story and more images after the jump)

Madonna Vs. Lady GaGa & Co. Who’s The Original?
February 5th, 2009 by kpriss
Changing the world one sequin at the time goes our precious worldwide newfound Lady GaGa about herself. And supposedly, her music.
I wanted to write this piece a while back but I kept postponing it because I thought the matter was rather sensitive, with all those GaGa fans out there. However, I have to take this seriously since the threat of a Lady GaGa clothing collection is upon us. (don’t miss the rest of this story and the pictures right after the jump!)
