Erin Wasson On Homeless Chic Reloaded

Remember that offending declaration about homeless people and their fashion sense made by Erin Wasson?
Well, that somehow made the tour of the Internet so Erin was forced to pause her design/fashion usual “you know” rant and explain what she actually meant.
I have actually talked to these homeless people. I’ve had conversations with them. It’s a choice that they’ve made. They don’t want to have a job. They enjoy being completely free. I’ll see people on the beach and aesthetically, they look awesome, and because it’s so uncontrived and uninhibited. I got a lot of heat for that. It wasn’t that I was like ‘Oh yeah, homeless people are so cool; it’s so cool to see people that are homeless looking cool.’ It’s the lack of complexity in the way that they dress and the fact that there’s no thought behind it whatsoever that’s so righteous. You know?

Sølve Sundsbø’s photography definitely grows on me with this pictorial. Managing to take Rosario Dawson out of Alexander, even if she’s doing an osé (daring) photo shoot is rather tricky, but he did it!
Pictures are never static with Sølve Sundsbø, if you remember the unspeakable beauty of the Danse Invitation pictorial, you’ll know what I mean! Victoria’s Secret Pink Body Organic Line

Victoria’s Secret raises the bar to the environmental level. After being smacked down for using catalog paper produced from freshly cut forest trees, Victoria’s Secret has reacted and dumped that bad habit and went for recycled.
Now they seem to have developed an environmental-likeness because they just issued a Body Line under the Pink umbrella 100% made from organic and natural ingredients. You can have everything: from Energizing Body Wash to Lip Butter.

Time really flies! I remember practically growing up with Calvin Klein One and Be, I remember Kate Moss’ freckled mouse face and that perfectly simple ad print campaign that has been, iconically, Kate Moss grand debut. CK One Kate Moss!

Segway Is Chic – The Chanel Segway!

Der Kaiser thinks Segway is chic! So chic, he decided to make a Chanel one! It’s maybe his way to say that even he’s using a Hummer, he wishes we use a Segway!
Now let me explain what a Segway is: it’s the adult, lazy version of the good’ol tricycle, a kind of Moto-Tricycle for those who aren’t yet sure they want to leave the childhood playground but they really want a motorcycle (ah, and they’re eco-friendly because the Segway runs on battery!). This year’s Red Carpet at the 81th Academy Awards Ceremony was, in fact, white! There’s maybe something in the air, something that made the ladies attending the glamorous event, wear white dresses!
I doubt that’s the recession, it’s like the ladies felt a marriage breeze around the Shrine Auditorium, like they all wanted to be 2009 Oscars Brides tonight. The Oscars Red Carpet, is, however, renowned for being not just the Kodak Theatre promenade for movie stars but for being the World’s most talked about catwalk! Heidi Klum In Roland Mouret Red Dress For 2009 Oscars

The more I look at Heidi Klum lately, the more I get the urge to cover my ears! She has become so loud, I think there’s no possible way to overlook her!
Her red Roland Mouret dress for tonight’s 2009 Oscars ceremony looks like a (badly wrapped) Christmas present with tons of bling on it. Sadly, her slick medium bob isn’t matching the dress. If she wanted to be taken seriously, she should’ve piled on bracelets up to her elbow and her earrings should’ve touched her shoulders!
Ah, and I always wanted to ask – what’s with Seal’s black lacquered nails? Because if it’s a fashion of some kind, we should definitely write an article on Stylefrizz about it! So what do you make of our 2009 Oscars Little Blingy Red Riding Hood (maybe she was all-red because she’s currently the spokesface for a Coca-Cola campaign)? (photos via celebutopia)
