Natalia Vodianova Covers Vogue Russia June 2009

When I saw Madonna proudly wearing that madhat-headpiece from Louis Vuitton at the Met Gala this year, I thought it was just her crazy way to thank the brand for extending her spokesface contract for fall (by wearing one of their most atrocious designs).

I was wrong, apparently! Vogue Russia, my next big Vogue – thing, features Natalia Vodianova for their June 2009 issue. All good. Except she’s wearing that crazy-rabbitsy head piece Madonna was wearing for the Met gala just the other day! And more – everything’s pink! The layout, the headpiece, Natalia’s outfit-bra…Pink! And that head piece! Why? I really love a good head band, but this is more than I could really imagine! (photo via)

The twins baby-boom celeb wave got to Rebecca Romijn too. She’s taking her baby girl twins for a photoshoot with InStyle. It’s never too early to start modelling!

Two beautiful baby girls posing in the arms of their beautiful mother (because we really missed celeb-moms posing with their little ones) for InStyle June 2009. Of course the inevitable question of getting back to the pre-pregnancy body was asked and Rebecca graciously answered that she was still a size up but that shouldn’t stop a woman from feeling beautiful. There’s life beyond the TV/silver screen! And more – contracts keep coming! After Nicole Kidman quitting from Woody Allen’s new project and taking up a Schweppes commercial alongside Rubina Ali, who played little Latika from Slumdog Millionaire, there comes Freida Pinto, grown up Latika signing for L’Oréal.

Freida, who was rumored to be courted by Chanel also is now a spokesface for L’Oréal and so is Evangeline Lilly, the Lost one. (She wasted no time! Lost just premiered its season finale and we hear that Evangeline is booked by L’Oréal!). Traditionally signing actresses for their ad campaigns, L’Oréal takes on TV series. But is Evangeline so representative for a cosmetics campaign (not to mention Freida Pinto)? Is it just an infusion of young Hollywood air to boost up the sales? (via, photos via 1, 2)

Famous for her curves and lately famous for her Complex photoshopping, reality star par excellence, Kim Kardashian admitted she’ll consider plastic surgery when time comes. And to think that she was the one bragging out loud about her cellulite and her un-perfect self! Kim, should you begin the plastic surgery trip, consider a serious hypocrisy lifting! (USMagazine)

Earlier this week I heard this tune on the radio while I was driving around running errands. My husband asked me what it was and so I remembered how much I loved Us3’s Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)!

Last year I was completely in awe about Cate Blanchett’s dresses for the 61st edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Her Armani Privé dresses suited her wonderfully for the Cannes events.

For Cannes 2009, the 62nd edition of the Film Festival, Armani Privé dresses still go strong on the Red Carpet. It may have been ordered to pay up against Hermes, but eBay celebrates its victory against L’Oréal in a case filed against eBay in France. The Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris has ordered the two parties to work a strategy together to combat the counterfeit trade. The road is long and hard, but there’s eLight at the eEnd for eBay! The Cannes Film Festival, 2009 edition has rolled its Red Carpet and unleashed the glam. The Jury call amazed me and not necessarily in a good way. The five women part of this year’s Cannes Film Festival Jury are:

Asia Argento, Isabelle Hupert, Robin Wright Penn, Shu Qi, Shamila Tagore. Half black&white, half nude with Isabelle Hupert taking no side by wearing Louboutins, dark denim and dark navy blouse with golden sequins. (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures!)
