Devon Aoki Covers Zoo Magazine No 23, The Summer Issue
July 6th, 2009 by kpriss
Summer magazine issues are usually easy to read, easy to pack and lightweight. The German Magazine Zoo Magazine features Devon Aoki on their 23rd Issue cover, the Summer Issue.
I will not hide that I brought this picture to your attention because I like Devon. Her nineties androgynous figure and apparent insouciance add personality to her neutral model self. ( I only like her as a model, she’s quite a terrible actress, I remember seeing her in one of the Fast and Furious movies and she looks/sounded pretty unconvincing but managed a pretty picture after all) Wearing a Stella McCartney lovely mini dress, photographed by Aneta Bartos, Devon is the light cover of Zoo Magazine‘s Summer Issue. (there’s also an alternative pop-like cover featuring Denisa Dvorakova and Clement Chabernaud, you can see it right after the jump!)
Marion Cotillard Is Dior’s Lady Red By Annie Leibovitz
July 5th, 2009 by kpriss
The second installment of the Lady Dior affair is Lady Red. Starring lovely Marion Cotillard, toujours, the new Lady Red Affair previewed its ad print campaign.
It’s beautiful and it’s signed by Annie Leibovitz! How could it go wrong? If the first chapter in the Lady Dior short film saga was somewhat strange, this Lady Red chapter comes with pictures first. And that makes it so adorable since it’s all about the photo story teller par excellence Annie Leibovitz. Is it just me, or this single picture’s worth the entire Lady Noire short film? (via)

Donatella After Dark In V Magazine July August 2009
July 5th, 2009 by kpriss
V Magazine July/August 2009 is an ode to blondes. There’s no beauty issue there unless we’re only talking about blonde-beauty!
Donatella After Dark is a paps-like beauty piece inspired by Donatella Versace whose signature style is unmistakable, even as portrayed by newcomer Valeria Dmitrienko. Worryingly modern, the new V Magazine issue is the promised land-magazine of any dubious form of art or iconic art. Fake tattoos (on a fake Madonna) on the cover, fake from tip to toes (on a fake Lady) inside, now fake paps-photography (with a fake Donatella). Looking forward to the next V Magazine “Beauty Issue” features! (click picture to see larger image!) (photo via)

Jessica Alba’s New Haircut
July 5th, 2009 by kpriss
Last I checked, Jessica Alba was getting a heavy, trendy fringe to match her ever long face when it comes to paparazzi pictures.
Now she’s back to her sand blond look with long, straight locks and magically no bangs showing! The virtue of hair extensions, Jessica Alba’s new haircut looks too fabricated for my taste. I liked her natural (even with those weird heavy bangs) shorter hair better. Did you? (that means we’re getting back to long fringe-less hair for Summer 2009?) (photos via)
David And Victoria Beckham For Armani Underwear Ad Campaign 2009
July 5th, 2009 by kpriss
At first there was David. Then there was Victoria. Now they’re pictured together for the infamous Armani Underwear 2009 Ad Campaign.
Being married to a successful soccer player like David Beckham must be truly challenging for Victoria, the fashionista. Of course she started out as a singer, but who doesn’t discover their inner fashion designer when already in the spotlight? (the story continues right after the jump)

Lady Gaga’s V Magazine July August 2009
July 5th, 2009 by kpriss
You don’t keep Lady Gaga for an inside story only! What happened over at V Magazine and how they chose Cameron Diaz for the cover of their July/August 2009 Beauty Issue is still a mystery to me.
Bringing the essence of her Gagaattitude, her Pantlesness manages to highlight some weird fashion made to measure her Gaga The Fierce self. (more pictures and video right after the jump!)

Cameron Diaz For V Magazine July August 2009
July 5th, 2009 by kpriss
V Magazine July/August 2009 has Cameron Diaz on the Beauty Issue cover. Get into the groove is more than just a cover line, is the very styling they got Cameron in: Madonna con bra features and fake tattoos.
Splendid at her pop art ish level as portrayed by Mert and Marcus, Cameron looks beautiful even if one would say she’s just a cover stand-in for Lady Gaga, the true star of this Beauty Issue (but that’s another story). (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures!)
